This makes me think of the importance of coming into the presence of God with holy awe and reverence. A lot of times you’ll pray without taking a moment to truly sit and be in His presence.
Gift - by YYADS
It's a most gracious gift to be able to step boldly into God’s presence and invite Him to commune with us. The deep respect and reverence that we must have for God does not coexist with an uncaring attitude.
Honour and Adore - by YYADS
However, we have Jesus to follow. He fulfilled the Law of Moses, He is the eternal high priest and He is the one who walked amongst us and defeated death. How much more should we be inclined to follow Him?
Evil - Part 1
Evil rarely arrived with sulfur and pitchforks, it prefers the subtle langue of the gentle. The serpent in Genesis never threatened, he reasoned, he did not curse God, he simply reframed God. Evil came well dressed, spoke plainly, reasoned well, then manipulated the outcome.
Anzac day 2025
We struggle to comprehend this. We all love those who serve, but for the majority who don not, giving your life for another at the cost of your own family, your own plans and hopes…that is difficult to grasp. Somehow Anzac Day creates a way for us to momentarily reflect and appreciate this difficult to grasp reality - helping us to develop perhaps again a gratitude, an honour and a respect for those who somehow find it in their heart to put their lives in the firing line.

I am not talking about Christian hobbies or preferences. We are talking about focusing more on Jesus, simply to know Jesus more? Like what was His reaction when…. How did Jesus handle…. Why did Jesus say… Who did Jesus engage…
New things
Lets not keep living off the memory of an experience in the past, Jesus wants our attention now – it is a continuous current relationship – Real and Alive. And so that the new can remain untainted, we need to keep looking to Jesus and not allow ourselves to dwell in the past.
