About Stirling Kids Church
Children are important to all of us. Our conviction is for children to thrive and become the person Jesus has created and called them to be. It is a priority of Stirling Family Church that we teach, model and show what a relationship with Jesus Christ looks like!
If you attend Stirling Family Church, it will be obvious to think that ministry to children is the most important ministry in the church!
We encourage our church to pray regularly for our children and young people. While it is true that they are the future church, it is more accurate to say that they are the young church of today.
Family Services
The first Sunday of each month is a Family Service where children remain in the service with their families. The Family Service gives extensive focus to Children, which includes live object lessons, crafts and activities.
The Family Service aims to facilitate a connection for children to experience a Sunday worship gathering that is relatable, engaging and involving. The reason for this is to model family relationship, rather than separate each time we gather. While separate spaces for age groups is necessary for effective teaching and growing, we also want to model what it is like to worship and learn together.
Stirling Kids during Services
During the Service on Sunday’s other than the first Sunday of each month, primary school aged children are invited to move to our Kids Space, and commence their age specific program where learning about Jesus and what Jesus says to them is the priority.
Our objective is to provide an engaging and safe environment where kids can build relationships with each other as they learn about their relationship with Jesus.
Every activity has aspects of praise and worship, bible teaching, stories, crafts, and games with the purpose to reinforce what families are building in the lives of their children - faith in Jesus!
Stirling Kids Welcome
Our Church subscribes and proactively engages with Child Safe and common-sense practice of love and care for children. In order to assist us, we ask for parents to provide us with specific details for their children, and basic contact details.
This process can be completed when a parent/carer accesses our ‘Stirling Kids Welcome Pack’
Our Stirling Kids team want to provide the best experience we can, and will help kids to participate in our shared activities. But ultimately, what we do at Stirling Kids aims to support what parents/carers are doing, and so everything we do needs your help and cooperation.
