Sunday Evenings are intentionally different and specific,

with a consistent desire to draw nearer to the Lord,

and grow as disciples of Jesus.

  • Prayer.

We gather for prayer called EP Nights, meaning Evening Prayer and Earnestly Pray. Acts 12:5 says: ‘So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.’ Earnestly means fervently, or deeply, or intentionally are other words that describe this word earnestly. As does ‘to stretch’ or ‘reach’ or ‘be in tension’. EP Nights are about praying with intentional desperate confidence, without ceasing, to the Lord to move, transform, open up and save.

  • Worskhops.

Arrange around specific topics or issues, we gather for a workshop format of practical teaching, questions and answers, discussions and practice. Workshops offer a way to get into some of the practical questions we have, and engage with how the Gospel works in our own lives, and through us into our community. Workshop are often facilitated by skilled and experienced practitioners who offer their expertise and passion.

  • Relections.

Reflection invites a person in the call to ongoing transformation and contemplative living. Reflection aims to develop competency in listening to foster attentiveness to God’s invitations. The approach is contemplative and experiential. Our hope is to live with unveiled faces, that we might more fully behold the glory of the Lord, and reflect Jesus in our own lives, from one degree of glory to another. Reflection is having an ear to hear the Spirit as we ponder the Word.
