29 Mar 2026 - Prayers of Jesus, Lament and the now and the yet

Our Easter Series is focused on the Prayers of Jesus, as we consider the prayer life and forgiveness of Jesus. The Bible records Jesus praying 25 different times during his earthly ministry. The prayers of Jesus give us great comfort, especially when we consider Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer of intercession found in John 17, as Jesus is prays for those who belong to God. We persevere because we are preserved by our High Priest’s intercession! Jesus is praying for us every day.  May we be encouraged by what Jesus prayed, and believe Him as we know His forgiveness, and forgive others.
