22 Feb 2026 - Compassion & See, pray to the Lord of the Harvest

Matthew 9:36-38 - “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Compassion and See Series is about Jesus, what He saw and what He heard, and the compassion Jesus had for people.

This morning, Ben shares about conversations of grace, and its connection to seeing the Harvest ripe, which requires our obedience to pray to the Lord of the harvest.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful…Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. (Col 4:2,5-6) “The harvest is [indeed] plentiful, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” (Matt 9:37-38)
